Redbirds compete at the Manitowoc Triangular
De Pere track and field delivered a strong showing at their latest meet, highlighted by dominant performances in relays, distance events, and throws.
On the boys side, De Pere was especially impressive in the distance races, sweeping the entire 3200-meter event from first through eleventh place. Richmond Gyamfi led the sprint group with a win in the 200 meters, while Brant Rosner stood out by taking first in both the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles. The Redbirds also showcased their depth and speed in relays, winning the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x800 events.
The girls team found success through a balanced attack. Freshman Nevaeh Randall captured the 400-meter title, and De Pere’s relay teams proved dominant with victories in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x800. In the field events, Hailey Gerlikowski was a standout, sweeping both the shot put and discus.
Overall, De Pere’s strengths were clear—powerful relay squads, standout individual performers, and exceptional depth in key events helped both the boys and girls teams put together an impressive meet.
